Powerful You is a grab and go counseling tool loaded with short and easy-to-use units for group or classroom counseling. Each of the twenty-six lessons share a true story with turn and talk prompts for student reflection. Inspiring quotes, activities, and tips are included in the book for optional lesson extension. Use the laminated Powerful You Role-Play Cards for story telling and acting out the desired behaviors. Classroom signs are included to leave a lesson footprint in visited classrooms.The themed units were created by a school counselor who listened and supported children for over 35 years. These lessons, which follow the ASCA national standards, discuss sensitive school and home issues from a child’s perspective and include:
